As I head overseas to India, it dawns on me, that Christine and I have left it all behind or in a couple situations, lost it all as we endeavored to follow The Holy Spirit. We have always been able to look back on those events as building blocks, but after all these years we now know we have never LOST anything! Jesus has never put us in or pulled us away that there was not more than anything we had before. This is not just financial, but spiritual. As the song says, I lost it all to find Evetything in salvation, yet today I know, even in His service, to lose it all is to have the riches of the throne of Grace a breath of prayer away! But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for † the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

My Father hath SENT me!!! The bottom line of what motivated the preaching of Jesus, My Father. Jesus loves His Father. Jesus loves those the Father loves. Jesus was SENT to express the Father's love.
So send I you!!! Our Father has sent us, My Father hath sent me!! Jesus knew the visible and personal sacrifice of Himself was needed for Him to be believed," so send I you"! To walk among sinners, to be salt and light, to express the same Love as the Father and the Son! To labor, to be lambs, to be as doves. Mind my business? My Father hath sent me! To preach, to be a scribe, and to be wise among men.
Luke 4:43
And he said unto them, † I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
John 7:29
But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
Over and over Jesus reminded people that He came with His Father's doctrine, His Father's mercy, for His Father's purpose.
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, † He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
So, why do we witness, why do I preach, why must I go across this country and around the world?
My Father hath sent me, too.
